Honey Bees Facts

Honey bees are the only insects that produce a food which is consumed by humans.

A healthy colony consists of 1 Queen, 500 to 1000 Drones (males) and up to 60,000 Workers (females).

A productive queen can lay up to 3000 eggs a day!

Bees can recognize and remember human faces. So be nice to them.
